The Ranch House at Garzas Creek has a rich history. Shorty after The Ranch House was built in 1930 – America’s “First” Great Depression, a kindly carpenter approached Paul and Grace Veeder – and offered his services in exchange for rent at The Ranch House. For one year, “Joe” lived at The Ranch House, and embellished the rustic cabin with his handiwork – made from limbs and logs he cut and crafted on the property. Today, we are inspired by this example of ingenuity and trade of services in the midst of difficult economic times. Almost 90 years later, Joe’s contributions to The Ranch House remain as treasures hewn from hard times.
Come to The Ranch House to see for yourself Joe’s touches that still adorn The Ranch House today.
We look forward to giving you and your family and friends an exquisite, Carmel Valley welcome at The Ranch House at Garzas Creek.
